ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARDS
This aliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
Extension cord use
A short ower-suly cord (or detachable ower-suly cord) is to be rovided to reduce
the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or triing over a longer cord. Longer
detachable ower-suly cords or extension cords are available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable ower-suly cord or extension
cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the aliance, and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drae over the counterto or tableto
where it can be ulled on by children or tried over unintentionally.
Polarized plug
This aliance has a olarized lug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this lug is intended to fit into a olarized outlet only one way. If
the lug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the lug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attemt to modify the lug in any way.
